I hope you manage to feel better with time. I know how work can make us miserable sometimes. But not having one does the same. That's actually my current situation, and it's very depressing. It's been a year since I got fired from my last job. I've been trying to get a new one, but no one ever gets back to me. I'll still keep trying.
As for the words about the kitten, they always help. And you and other people who commented about it did a lot more than those who knew about it and didn't say anything at all.
If you want a bit more light into what has been wrong, I just wrote a new blog entry!
