How cold are you all? This is the first time where I was cold enough that I was involuntarily chattering my teeth and I was inside my home. My home is very cheap and the insulation is horrible. It makes the winter very hard on my family considering that the heater is not properly placed in the home and it has been not working at full. So, I went into my bed and covered myself up with half a dozen blankies with a sweatshirt and very thick PJ's to stay warm.
Oh, and I keep hearing this fucking noise outside of my house that is not making me sleep any better!

The strangest thing is it wasn't creaking of my house. It sounded like someone was dragging something over my gravel driveway and side of our house. It didn't help either that I watched Paranormal Activity.

That's a bit....unsettling...to say the least. I have a huge pecan tree so I hear pecans, squirrels, small limbs falling all night. Plus my guest bathroom isn't finished and so only has subfloor down and I think a dog or cat or something gets under there and pushes on it, it's quite annoying.
