Well, my son says that maybe it's not the *END* of the world, just the end as we know it. He's thinking time travel. That would be okay, too, because it would handle that situation above, too.

'Course, I'm thinking ... with ME traveling through time ... I'm bound to do something that make the world blow up. And now we're back to Square One!

But since OldSkoolPat says that he had a college test with a question relating to this that claims the exact date is December 23, 2012 ... think of how much anxiety we can save by not Christmas shopping!

On the other hand, if he's wrong ... our families are going to be very unhappy with us.

You have given me a new goal! If I can travel back in time, perhaps I could do something to ensure that they didn't fix that Y2K bug. Because come on ... that was a big disappointment when *nothing* happened that day. I can only take so much gloom and doom without actual explosions.
