If things go as planned I should be getting my sleeve worked on this afternoon. I finally found another artist and ironically he knows where my old artist is. I am going to let the new guy work on me cause he is close. I am still going to the old artist to have the color done on the 2 he did not finish.
After that it is back to the studio for some work on The Sins Ep....
So a little more about the show last Saturday. This was a last minute deal for us so we did not have time to promote it much. We were playing second. When the first band started playing, there were 2 bands sitting there with a whole 3 fans who were there to see the first band. So I am thinking no biggie it's my first gig so no pressure is on me.
About half way through the first band, a few people start trickling in. So they end and I head backstage to start getting ready. I am focused on the set-up not the crowd because I did not think there were many people there. The lights are blinding me anyway so I can't see. So we are are all sound checked and the lights go out. I look out and the place in full.
Not packed but there arent any available seats in the main room. Adrenaline and fear hit at the same time. Adrenaline won....
I get off stage and pack my shit up. When I get out to watch the 3rd band I notice that we are back to the 2 bands and 3 fans.......

Anyway, sounds like the gig was a success! Congrats on your first (?) set. I am very intrigued with The Sins and am going to endeavour to look for some of their music.
Got the fun job... and accepted it. You only live once, right? i can supplement my income with my second casual job as a graphic designer for an automotive aftermarket company.
Where I am at this moment.... procrastinating...
