Nussbaum sounds pretty good. I looked up the Cultivating Humanity text, and it sounds like an interesting read. I also came across a National Review article about the book that pissed all over Nussbaum and her book, so that's really all I need to see to know that it's probably a good one.
Must be nice to go to a school that gets real commencement speakers. When I graduated from UT-Dallas was the president of the school. Which, truth be told, was a vast improvement from the jackasses they usually get. More often than not, it's some Re-pube-lican state rep or something.
