funny how we are so isolated around people. my friend in law school lives in a backwards land and though in contact has no nieghbors persee. it is like the intellectuals are in a colony of natives and being out of favor with the rulling party live in some graham greene kafka land of mass market chain stores and infrequent visits. I myself am in the same boat but of my own wretched design having left the house only for ingedients for a series of meals I may not even make.
