Woke up this morning sore and unwanted to work, but so far the pain has left, the heat in the plant has stayed low, the projects are going well, and the pain is going away. So if I can make it to 430, the weekend is here for me.

In January 2019, my Monday through Thursday 10 hour days became 12's.

Then came the 8 hour Fridays....and then the 6 hour Saturdays.

Other than holidays, last week was probably the 5th Saturday I have had off since January 2019.

This weekend I finally have a 3 day weekend.

My schedule started picking up in 2019. My job normally works us 4 10-hour days. As soon as we came back from Christmas break in January last year, we were working Fridays and Saturdays too. Then they started asking for volunteers for 12 hours, which eventually became mandatory.

The company I work for is pushing this new assembly-line style of work, which has been allowing some to slack off while others are working hard to keep up. And now our team leader is leaving. This last couple weeks have sucked.

Thankfully this Saturday I'm off work and off to Knotfest.

So needed this concert!
