My schedule started picking up in 2019. My job normally works us 4 10-hour days. As soon as we came back from Christmas break in January last year, we were working Fridays and Saturdays too. Then they started asking for volunteers for 12 hours, which eventually became mandatory.
On average last year I worked 50-55 hours a week, 6 days a week. This meant all my chores, errands, and hobbies were forced onto a Sunday.
We haven't completely slowed yet, but we aren't doing 12's for now. This gives me a chance to at least use my Sundays to rest. To do small things like binge watch TV shows or go play nerd games with friends. Hopefully one day I may again post and talk about Lazy Saturdays.
