Well, I'm glad I didn't go to the Mad Max marathon at the Alamo Drafthouse. Apparently some local enthuisiasts got together, dressed up like characters for the movie, jumped onto replica bikes/cars, and chased a water tanker truck (driven by another enthuisiast) all the way to the theatre, but the cops got called because other people thought a tanker was being hijacked. So everyone got arrested and the marathon got cancelled. Crazy.
Some crackhead ended up spending the night sleeping on my patio, unbeknownst to me. We're kind of buddies, and it's a long story, but it's kind of funny.
I need to quit smoking tonight.
Ugh, I slept in waaaay too late. I woke up around nine-thirty or so, went and dropped off that crackhead at someone else's house, got my oil changed, didn't find a tire shop without a long wait, so I went home to watch TV and woke up a half hour ago. Oh well.
I need to finish packing tonight (yeah right), so I can be ready to leave the apartment pretty soon.

If you don't kill the canadian geese before they are six months old the meat becomes so tough all you can do is make jerky , soups , and stew . A good friend of mine tried making the jerky several times and it never was very good . I used to have too deep fry my turkeys that I hunted cause that was the only real way I could get anyone to eat them . There is a couple of HUGE pheasants running aroud out back , they are native so they are twice the size of the puny stocked birds , and boy do they taste good

OH , our governor just raised the taxes on the smokes up here so now they are like five bucks a pack
