Well, looks like I'm doing the drive to Seattle on my own. At least I'll be able to listen to my own music. Probably take me about 6 days - five if I hustle. If I didn't have to tow a trailer, I could do it in three wink tongue

South Park is so utterly fucking hilarious!

Funniest shows ever:

SNL (the first three or four seasons were beyond great - the best ever).

The Simpsons (consistency is key)

South Park (how they make such idiotic, stupid and boring things funny, I don't know, but they do)

Kids In The fuckin Hall!!! (Best thing to ever come out of Canada - even better then their beer! eeek )

The Ben Stiller Show (just fucking great - Stiller has ten times the potential people think he does)

Mad TV (first three seasons - just awesome)

Reno 911! (not only hilarious, but it's almost entirely improv!! holy shit!)

Chappelle Show ("I'm Rick James Bitch!" need I say more? OK, how about Eddie Murphy? nough said bitch!)

Futurama (he he he! lol!)

Aqua Teen Hunger Force (the most original cartoon of our time)

So I just saw a commercial for the evening news, and they're talking about "Mexican police taking advantage of spring breakers; pay a bribe or go to jail!" like it's some kind of huge fucking secret that Mexican police are on the take!? What the fuck? Every idiot and their mother knows you can get out of just about anything in Mexican border/tourist towns for about $40 US. And then there's the whole, what the fuck are these kids expecting when they go south of the border, get so drunk that they cause trouble, and then get arrested? Do they expect preferential treatment just cause they're gringos? I sure as shit never did.

Am watching "2 Fast 2 Furious". Started to write everything that was wrong with it, technically, and 10,000 words later, and I'm still not half done. They didn't even TRY to make it realistic! I mean, an EVO that can outrun a SALEEN and a built Corvette on the highway, but can't outrun a Hemi powered "stock" Dodge (Brian's saying that it's a 425hp engine which is bullshit for two reasons - no idiot would race a stock hemi, cause it's worth too much money, and 2) any idiot who would race a hemi would go all out building it, and it'd be well in the neighborhood of 600hp)!?

In the first movie, there were only two real big inconsistencies. One, a ten second quarter mile does not take a minute and a half to film. I'm sorry, it just doesn't. And 2, a 9 second Supra would spank the living shit out of a stock Ferrari convertible, even without the nitrous oxide. Ferraris are not so insanely fast as people think - just think of a Corvette as an American Ferrari, cause, generally speaking, they are just as fast as each other. The Vette is America's competition for the Ferrari, just like the Cadillac is America's competition for the Mercedes Benz.

Which brings me to the fact that the Corvette is about to get the most powerful engine any Vette has ever gotten AND it's going to be gas friendly (i.e. no gas guzzler tax - the only super car in the world to get an EPA friendly rating! biggrin biggrin biggrin ). While the loss of the F-body (Camaro, Firebird, Firehawk, Trans-Am, et cetera) pisses me off to no end, I'm glad to see the Corvette running strong, and the Mustang too (even if it's more ugly now then the Mustang II ever was puke - if you want to build a retro Mustang, just build it to look EXACTLY like the old school Mustangs, only with today's technology - I guaran-fucking-tee that people will buy them! shit! I'd fucking buy one, and I hate Fords!).
