Well, I didn't get to work this morning. I should have, but I didn't. So I'll have to do it all tomorrow before school. That kind of works out well, though, but in an odd way.

Just saw "Cigarettes and Coffee". Good movie. Quiet, but good. Also just saw "Anchorman". Fucking stupid. I disliked it a great deal in just about every way.

I had three space heaters on in my apartment last night. It was like the fucking Amazon when I woke up. I loved it. Course I was that kind of ubersweaty few people know exists. I was so dehydrated just from sweating that I drank two gallons of water in half an hour and was still thirsty. Probably shouldn't do that again...getting that dehydrated can't be anything but dangerous.

Benson and Hedges cigarettes are pretty good. In the last three days I've had two cigarettes, only one of them today and it was a B&H. Probably will have one more with my coffee, then another later on today after I shower and hit the road to get some money out of the bank.

Things I have to do today:
- Find my three foot level
- Buy some painter's caulk
- Clean my apartment
- Eat lunch (had Quizno's yesterday and it rocked)
- Do some grocery shopping (this I'll probably skip)
- Go to the bank
- Send off that money for the eBay thing (shouldn't have bought it)
- Take some tylenol for my headache (hell, I can do that right now)
- Send out those company checks for the past due bills
- Get a new tire for my truck
- Purchase some books for school

Probably there are a few more things, but that stuff will have to do. Honestly, probably less then half of that will get done, but it doesn't matter, so long as some of it gets done. Still sick or not, I need to get off my ass and finish some of this stuff.

I live right down the street from a little back country airport and have a few friends who own planes so for a while around 15 years ago I used to just drive my car up to the pumps and fill up with av gas . Av gas is not the best fuel for performance engines cause of all the additives in it , I primarily run Cam 2 race fuel with various additives that are determined at race time by environmental conditions .... temp ... humidity ...etc.... cause these conditions can affect peak horsepower as much as 150 hp and often affect who wins or loses the race and money , on a good day my motor will generate 1150 hp before dumping up to another 500 hp of nitrous in it . I often do test and tune on a little farm road , and well one of my competitors told the cops , so last sping after doing some suspension work I headed out for a run and just over seven seconds later I'm going by a cop holding a laser at 225 mph , you should have seen him banging the laser on the car thinking it was broken biggrin

My employer got turned in by a dissgruntled employee for repairing some scrapped parts without the customers approval " the US military " so I have to spend the next two months in court as a witness for my employers defense team mad

Most of my consulting work is writing motion control software , electronic repairs and installations and electrical contracting , with some CNC machine repair added in for extra cash .

All you need to start your own consulting firm is a lawyer to create the proper corporation that best fits your needs and a need for your work . There are people out there selling your secrets for $5,000 a pop on video tape eeek

I noticed many small property managment companies popping up all over the place up here in Connecticut , they buy up all these old houses dirt cheap and end up going broke after having lead found in tenants childrens blood from all the lead based paint . You end up eating $200,000 on lead abatement costs for a six unit apartment house that you payed $130,000 for , and all kinds of legal fees and damages . In downtown Meriden some new companies have purchased huge vacant buildings from the town for taxes owed only , some of these buildings can easily be converted into 100 units after a high initial cash outlay to bring things up to code and repair water damage etc....

I'm surprised that you don't want to head to Florida to get in on all the hurricane rebuilding action , it would be a good way develope a fast growing consruction / management firm , and there are many properties just waiting to be taken off the insurance companies hands for a dirt cheap price , shit you could buy an entire residential block to start off with biggrin
