Quick update.

Just got my truck back from the warranty checkup. I am appalled! They told me it would be ready at 3:30PM and I'll be damned if it wasn't ready at 3:30PM! What the hell's wrong with these people, getting me my truck when they say they would! This is a huge dealer and they actually keep their word! Pfft!

wink

Seriously, Fiesta Dodge is...

Luckily I make them nervous , so they stay away from me biggrin

WOW .... you guys sure get fucked on the price for that Z-MAX shit down there , it sells for $30 at the local wallmart up here eeek

You should use Marvel Mystery Oil to flush the motor , remove the spark plugs and fill the oil pan with it and turn the starter for several 15 second intervals and then let the motor sit overnight , adding some to each cylinder will help remove deposits from the rings , in the morning turn the starter for several 15 second intervals again " you can also remove the distributor and use a drill to turn the oil pump " this will flush the motor and help to recondition the seals .

Use Redline Water Wetter in the radiator with staight water , the motor will run at least 20 degrees cooler biggrin

It's sitting three feet high in the garage for the winter , all of my digital photos are too high resolution to be uploaded to the site , they have a 150kb max file size limit , and some of my photos are 20mb even after being run through a scanner , I thing I can reduce the resolution on my new camcorder for a shitty garage shot or two , all of my weights are in the way and the lighting is poor , but I'll give it a shot

Took my truck in to get it's warranty inspection. Has it been 18,000 miles already? *shakes head, sheds single tear* They grow up so fast.

Am in surprisingly excellent mood, despite lack of sleep (got a whole four hours of broken sleep this morning! wha-hoo!). Spent a couple hours with the old man. Finally, after twenty-two years of nagging, he's decided to start dressing like...

what's up with this weird obsession I have with ani difranco? nevermind the fact that I take an insane amount of shit talking about it from my friends, but i just think she's the ultimate cool. the absolute coolness. i mean, who rocks harder then ani?

I need to go to sleep, but if I do that now I'll never get my truck into the...

Yeah, so I mentioned that I've been going through a lot of my old boxes searching for stuff and all, deciding what needs to get thrown and what to keep (note: have a decided lack of boxes!) and found a box of mostly empty CD cases. Guess how many empty UNDERTOW cases I have. Guess how many empty AENIMA cases I have.

Nope. Not even...

I've seen those malibu's with a corvette drivetrain swapped in , the headers are a tight fit with a smallblock , so you will need some custom exhaust fabrication to clear the front suspension with that monster caddy motor eeek
kreatinkaos:
Hey thanks , that caddy motor is real wide , kind of like a hemi , which is at least six inches wider than a bigblock chevy 454 , you might fit it in with log style hotrod exhaust manifolds like what Boyd Coddington uses on his cars . With that motor a little backpressure will be good cause they don't like to wind high anyways , it will make a killer sleeper for the streets biggrin

Mwuh-hahahahahahaha!

So I'm going through all my old shit as I am packing, trying to throw away everything I don't need (not so easy - I am a hell of a pack rat), and I find this old CD tower full of empty CD cases. I'm going through it, check it cause I know some aren't empty, and I start remembering how I used to...

I wonder how lucky I am? I wonder if I'm lucky enough that the dead cylinder on my engine is only because of a shitty piston ring. If so, and the cylinder walls aren't rusted, I just have them hone the walls, clean everything up, and bolt it all back together. Total that'd cost in the neighborhood of thirteen hundred bucks and I'd have a 400hp engine. This way I could get my project rolling a lot sooner and could save up money for a serious build a year or so down the line (overbore, aluminum heads, hi-ris intake, et cetera).

But then it comes back to if I did the serious build from the get go, I'd save money in the long run, but would have an engine that would have to sit around for a little while during the time I'd have to save up money for the rest of the car....what to do, what to do....
soda_pop:
meth eh?.........how do speed people end up getting a job in intelligence?...is it just me or is that odd?

Two decisions.

1) The engine. I'm pretty sure I'm just going to rebuild the one I have with stock everything (assuming the pistons are resuable for cheap), except an aftermarket cam, intake, headers and caburetor. With the stock 10:1 compression and a moderately aggressive camshaft and a good intake with good carb and custom headers (no other way with this engine) I'll be looking at...

Astrocreep 2000 is a perfect album.

I'm pretty sick to my stomach. I ran out of one of my stomach medications, dragged ass on getting it refilled, then ran out of the other! eeek This is going to be a very painful weekend. Fuck it, bring it on! ARRR!!!

Talked to my oldest brother today. He insisted that I come and live with him and his wife...

Boy did I make a big mistake.

I smoked two whole cigarettes today and now I would murder for a third. I am seriously thinking of going down to the gas station and buying a pack and taking one cigarette out and tossing the pack into the trash. See, I have this thing of when I'm quitting smoking I can have no more then three...

Not smoking is kind of cool. OK, so I had one cigarette today, but that's pretty fucking good considering.

Got a Ted Nugent CD just for the song "Strangehold".

So here's the plan for the engine;

Engine: bored out to 540 cubic inchs, 550-600hp/650-700ft-lbs
Transmission: Either a TH400 built to the teeth with an Overdrive gear added (about $1500)

OR

A Quadzilla $2600 four-speed "automatic"...

fuck me, we got this monster hail storm coming to my area and my truck is only half parked under the covered parking cause everything is fucking full. Well, at least I;m not the only one.
kreatinkaos:
Shit , your complaining about a hail storm , we got 5 + days of snow slated for up here starting tonight . You should be able to find tons of old pickups in good condition down there .

Ted Nugent's "Strangehold" is an amazing fucking song, even more amazing considering that asshole never even used to get drunk and party when he was a rock star. Either way, I want this song played at my funeral as they lower me into the ground.

Come to find out, my sister-in-law's father is like a hardcore drag racer in Seattle. As in, he has a...

I love sleeping in until noon. The only thing that sucks about it is I wake up feeling worn out and it takes me a while to get going. Course it could be that I'm dehydrated from sweating so fucking much last night. I'm not as sick as I was, and am feeling half human finally, but I'm still sweating like some kind of carnival...

yeah, I don't have either of those things. no power steering, disc/drum breaks (not anti-lock), no sunroof (crank or otherwise). the power locks were easy to install when I got a whole alarm/stereo job done and he didn't charge me for them. the guy I go to for my stereo work is very good and honest to a fault. he's never gonna be rich because he's always taking care of people. he always gives me a good deal because I'm a repeat customer. I found him when my old alarm malfunctioned and triggered the engine kill on the highway. I had my car towed to the mechanic next door to him. he went out in the rain and took out the alarm for free, then called me to follow up on my electrical problems. good people.
I have since bought two stereo systems for myself, a cd changer for my brother cufflinks, and a changer for my dad... I am soooo loyal to business owners with good customer service.

I'm having a good day. Almost a great day. Come 10:00PM I'll know if it's just a good day or a great day (come 1:00AM I'll know if it's a PERFECT day or not... wink ).

I woke up feeling like shit and almost didn't go to school. When I got there I got a test back in my first class. Got an 80. The average...
