I've been catching red drum up here for four years now , but they are small ones only 16" long , someone caught a 75 pound black drum up here a couple of years ago , as far as catfish are concerned we only have a state record of 20 pounds , we dont get those giant blue cat fish up here

good thing I'm generally pretty clean...I rarely drink anymore and occasionally would smoke pot and roll X...but those days are definitely over...I used to only get the chest pains when I was working out ...usually on the 4th or 6th mile of running or when I was lifting, and with sex sometimes.... my rate just feels real inconsistent, when I'm laying down I notice it's more at a low rate..but then will jump , then drop...its weird..but right now even sitting up makes me light headed...the only relief is with laying...I'm not to stressed about it, I'm sure it something meds can help with, just frustrated because I can't seem to stay out of bed for more than an hour... I'm not used to spending so much time in the house...especially in bed! Thanks for the info...at least I won't be a complete air head when I go the heart quack tomorrow

I *heart* Huckabees is fucking amazing. You must see this film. It gets a little silly, even annoying, at times, but the end result is well worth it. More then a few times I laughed so hard it hurt, but at the same time it's incredibly poignant, and if it doesn't make you think long and hard about life, then you need to put down that pipe, or bottle, and detox that mind of yours.

The Village. Much better then I thought, but a wholly different movie then I anticipated. All and all, very good. One question (spoiler!) that comes to mind is how did William Hurt's character, a supposedly intelligent univ. professor not realize that in a generation or two the kids will eventually end up venturing out of the village and into the woods once they realize that no one is getting killed by the things in the woods. Also, if the government was involved in this project, as is alluded to, how the fuck are they getting away with not filing some kind of progress reports or anything like that!? The government wouldn't do something like that out of the goodness of their hearts.

Watching Young Frankenstein right now. Must say, when she was skinny Terry Garr (spl?) was easily one of the ten sexiest, most beautiful leading ladies ever to set foot on a sound stage in Hollywood.

Actually the strongest vintage factory big blocks were the Ford 460's manufactured in Lima Peru , they had the highest nickel content , the crankshafts in those motors were good for 7500 RPM too . Drew Backlund has built many 540CI 700+ horsepower pumpgas motors for cheap money based on those blocks

The newer nicotine gums are actually supposed to have a decent flavor , and there is allways the patches , all that kind of stuff is over the counter up here .

My Dart Iron Eagle blocks weight 198 pounds bare , so that caddy block must weight around 225 to 250 , add 75 pounds min per head , 65 pounds for the crankshaft , 50 pounds for the intake , and another 75 to 100 pounds for the camshaft , lifters , rods , pistons and waterpump etc..... they must of had fun draging that fucker into the storage unit

It must have been a real bitch for them to get the motor in there , hopefully they had a palletjack on hand at the storage place , that motor must weight in at well over 700 pounds

My asshole brother said he'd be able to help me out tonight, yet isn't answering his fucking phone. If I can't get a hold of him tonight two very bad things will happen:

1) A stranger he does not know will show up at his house, unannounced, to drop off my engine (which he isn't expecting).

2) I will be out eight hundred dollars and a very bad ass engine I've been lusting after for five years.

I could kill this asshole. He never answers his fucking phone, especially when he promises that he will!

Oh, and this one's for you KreatinKaos, I just found out that the Caddy 500 DOES fit in a 78-83 Malibu, and that in fact it fits with only the smallest mods (frame notch and modified aftermarket crossmember). In fact, I found a couple guys that have done it with stock driveshafts! That's fifteen hundred dollars I wouldn't have to spend on a driveshaft (naturally if I get one made it's going to be a bad ass expensive one). Not sure on the power accessories, though, but will find out in good time.

Just imagine: a 3200lbs Malibu with 512 inches of bored out big block and 500+hp/650+ ft-lbs on pump gas. Gotta love it. The guys who I found that did this were running mid-13 at the track on street tires and the wrong gearing (for some insane reason a Caddy BB will run a higher ET with 3.08s then it will with 3.42s, and some pro drag racers even run 2.73s at the track on slicks). I bet with a built tranny, slicks, and the right gearing I could post low-12s, high-11s. On a pump gas motor. Just imagine the nitrous possibilities (hell 10s! ). Shit, 12s are scary fast in a daily driver - most people that think they can handle that really can't.

Course if I build that car you know I'd have to marry a woman that owned a tire shop, or my bank account would be perpetually empty! Just the kind of problem I actually WANT!

The guys are using the 2.73 rear end with an automatic trans equiped with a 4500RPM stall speed torque converter , this setup minimizes wheelspin off the line with street tires and the torque converter is constantly multiplying torque , this is how John Lingenfelter builds his newer 10 second vettes , he uses a 3.08 rear end and an electronic torque converter that only locks up in top gear . I don't know what mods will have to be done to the aftermarket crossmember , but I believe the frame notch is for exhaust clearance

The Malibu would look cool with 17" rally rims , but that monster caddy motor is going to make the front real heavy causing wicked understeer no matter what you do with the suspension , and you will need to install minitubs in the back or the widest tire you will be able to install is a 275 / 60 R15
