I tried hating God and

I tried hating Christ

So now I'll hate the Holy Ghost

I think that will suffice



God created the female form

so I can't hate him for long

and Christ is just the messenger

through his suffering he's atoned



I tried to hate the Devil

but I really love his style

God may have created happiness

but the Devil showed us how to smile



I tried hating Bush and

my fourth grade math teacher

but it's much too much beneath me

to despise inferior creatures



I tried to blame the other kids

when I was young and in school

but I was such an easy mark

Practically begging for them to be cruel



I tried hating the small number

of loves in my life

but that's like ignoring the hand

and instead blaming the knife



I tried to put the blame

upon my own head

but it's not much fun to kick a dog

when it's already dead



So I will hate the Holy Ghost

That Heavenly Bride

The third part of the trinity

that always seems to hide



So it's got to be in heaven

planning something bad

So I'll just say "Fuck the Holy Ghost!"

whenever I get mad
