is the labyrinthine human soul

Repugnant horrors dwell inside

where fearsome spectres do reside

But take the suicidal plunge

into the depths you must expunge

the truth that lies at foul pits foot

wipe away the grime and soot

Until you do you'll be a stranger

passing yourself to and fro
