So I'm given the task of writing a paper for my english class. I had believed that I hate writing. I just might. As most classes I'm sure, we were told to pick a topic/question that is something that would be interesting and perhaps even controvertial, so of course the issue of pro choice came to mind first, I titled it Pro-choice vs Pro Life: why must it be one or the other? Teacher said blech. So I started a new quest titled Closing the Pandora's box in Iraq... basically with the intent of providing a solution of how to get the kids home and complete some semblance of a good thing over there. I'm focusing it on the infrastructure, that getting the Iraqi's to rebuild the infrastructure would provide jobs and keep them off the streets and out of the assorted militias. My research revealed that there have been several attempts/projects to rebuild the infrastructure, however they all consisted of corporations and hired help from other countries. I know I wouldn't feel so good about some other country hiring help from other countries to rebuild my war torn country, hell I'd resist too. I figure if the whole effort over there became the restructuring of the country by Iraqi's, no one would be able to legitimately resist our work there. So many jobs, not to mention the jobs produced for security of the infrastructure facilities, who would have time to join a militia? We'd serve a decent cause, we'd put the Iraqi's on the right path to success, who loses???
