Well since I last wrote quite a lot has happened. I went on a Electricrity at work course (and I passed, so if you need a plug wired I'm your man) and today I had a Fire Safety course, I can now be a fire warden and be heroic and save lives in a manly fashion (or I can just show people the way out). I meet up with Iliad on Monday and she very kindly showed me that central London is actually very small and I'm being a lazy bastard by taking the tube. The downside of this is that she showed me where Forbidden Planet was so the next day I decided I should test my new knowledge by walking from Leciester Square to Covent Garden via Planet, so course I went in and brought things, oh what I would give for a bit of self control, at least I got an Edward Gorey address book out of it .

You know life is really rather good at the moment. I'm in a nice house with nice house mates, I'm only 20 minutes from the centre of London. I'm in a great job where they actually want to teach me things (unlike my last job where even though I was a trainee I very rarely learn a thing). I mean this afternoon with the senior techincian I got to do a bit of carpentry, making a box on wheels and John was happy to talk me through it and not rush anything.

Not working this Saturday, so I think I might go to Tate Modern and perhaps try and catch a film, or maybe something more interesting may come up. for the first time in my life I really feel I'm in a place where interesting things might just pop up from nowhere.
