today i woke up from a four hour nap to three things....a message that i had flaked on a friend (because i was sleeping), the flaming lips BLARING from the computer, and a missed instant message.
ok, for the next thing to make sense, i have to fill you in on a few things....i have always wanted to move to new york. i was supposed to a few times, but never did. and lately i've been thinking about how much i want to be there. how i wish this last june i had actually done it. so, my friend who has the apartment i want, in astoria (which is where i want to live), has suddenly become available. and i'm kicking myself for not saving my money and for signing a year lease. this place is awesome. five minutes to the subway, 10 to the city. one bedroom for much less than i'm paying for my crappy ghetto studio.
i was so excited, until i realised there's no way i can do. booo. i'll live there one day. just not now.

And I don't remember anything about shit or get off the pot. Then again, it was a bit loud.
It was only four beers, though they may have been high octane. And yes, I would imagine that after ten beers my memory would start to fail... Anyway, if it wasn't said directly to me I doubt I would have heard it.
Of all the people I saw yesterday, you're the only one who has a new SG journal entry! That's one of the reasons you're my favorite of all. That and you call me a Jackass when I buy people beer.
Tomorrow morning I need to wash and wax the car before the sun gets too bright (on account of the black paint). That means it's off to bed with me!
