Today a young women sauntered up to me at work and informed me that the women's restroom was out of tampons. This puzzled me at first because up until that point, I wasn't aware that the women's restrooms were selling tampons.
Chicklets maybe.
A pack of marlboro's certainly.
Copies of the wall street journal most definently.....but tampons? Well you learn something old every day, dontcha?

Utlmately, I assumed she meant our tampon machines were out. She then went on to say that our current lack of tampons was outrageous, and that nowadays keeping your tampon machines stocked up was a high priority.

Apparently more women are menstruating nowadays than ever before. This women must've taken a census or something.

With all due respect to the ladies out there, tampon machines are not THE highest priority when stocking public restrooms. In fact I've taken a census on this subject (monkey see, monkey do) and I have compiled the top six list (yes, that right six...even numbers are our friends too) of public restroom item restocking maintenance thingies, in NO particular order:

1. hand towels
2. hand soap
3. Toilet Paper
4. The toilet seat liners (otherwise known as Ass Gaskets)
5. Urinal Pucks.

Unfortunently my internet connection went idle before I could gather enough information on what #6 was, but for the sake of argument let's call it a draw between Condom machines, Old spice dispensers, Bubble gum machines with homies in them, and last but not least.....our old friend......the tampon machine.
