-Friday-
Rock starred it into the airport on friday. Maxx got me as far as the stoplight leading to the airport terminals and I jumped and ran. The time was 7:17 and my flight was scheduled for 7:20. Did I make it? Skin of the teeth baby. Skin of the teeth.
Hit the tarmac in san jose at 8:30 and called one of my close...

Mellow week, trying to plan and save for prom this weekend.
I did, however, go to sushi with one of my college buddies the other day. I just can't pass up the raw fish.

Looks like I'll be staying at a hostel this weekend. I had to do something different from everyone else cause I'm just contrary like that.

Now to figure out transportation from...

A quick recap with no explanations.

The Getty looks like one of the utopia planets on star trek. I wonder what its dark secret is.

Maxx was right about Vince's.

The desk fit.

Oh, and it's always refreshing to meet really cute girls at the laundrymat

Yeah, I have this designer soap/moisturizer biz that I use. We just ran out of it dammit.

Still don't know where you are staying at Prom?
cherrybomb00:
Laundrymat cute girls?? I've been doing my laundry at work for the past year, (a treat for me that clears my weekends for fun) but before that, I had to schlep to the mat and there were mostly freaks. I had some street guy grab my foot even. Next time, toss a pair of tighty whities... your cleanest BVDs (no hershey squirts or shit streaks, I said clean! hee hee)--in their folded clean laundry with your name & # on em.

Drinking of heroic proportions occured on wed. Truthfully I don't even know how I managed to get home and I definitely don't know when I went to sleep. It's a bit disturbing.

I'm going to the getty this weekend.

my gift to you
jeffreylebowski:
the getty hmm. i like to go there and sit on the lawn and hang out. the exhibits aren't so cool, but the architecture is pretty bad ass. meier is pretty bad ass, go on the architecture tour. it's pretty cool.

I've been staying in too much lately, I'm starting to go stir crazy.
Of course today will go a long way towards fixing that. Drinking at la cabana with the coworkers (we call it a mandatory meeting most people would call it group of binge drinkers cutting out of work early). I'm following that up with a party downtown thrown by a magazine and a...

Feeling much better, though I'm sitting here with a huge list of things to do. It really piles up when you're sick.

I've been loving this weather. A little hot during the day, then perfect amazing evenings.

Thanks man. The weather here is hotter than hell, although it is helping my skin which is clearing up now. Was having a bad break-out.
I have seen a couple of MINIs here (which I pointed out to my Dad, he hasn't seen my car). That is when we drive to town from out here in the country. Other than that it is trucks trucks trucks.
juxlii:
been working in a coolass bar with kickass live music. it's got me pretty well plugged in around here and has exposed me to some great live local music.

sick sucks...get good and enjoy the fuck out of the weather...it just got cold as nuts here.

Yeah, so do I.

Hopefully you'll feel better soon.
cherrybomb00:
Starve a fever feed a cold. That's probably bullshit.
I feel sick too, although sick in the head more like it.

Edited to say I love your letterbox eyes.

I walked a lot this weekend, anyone who says you can't walk in la is dead wrong.

Went out to ogle camera gear saturday at Bel Air Camera and managed to stumble onto the LA times book fair while I was wandering about afterwards.

That shit was sweet. I got a book on day hikes in southern california and a lonely planet book on europe....

Still listening to the magnetic fields. The three album series 69 Love Songs if you happen to be interested.
The weekend consisted of a whole lot of nothing owing to some pain and swelling, and awful headache (I think it was caffeine withdrawl).
I'm waiting for the swelling to go all the way down before I plan anything big this week, but I'm doing well...

Yeah, so, glad that's over. It wasn't nearly as bad as last time, but it's still not fun getting those wisdom teeth pulled.
Watched Buckaroo Banzai last night and loved it. Thanks to sugarfish for suggesting I pick it up.
Today I'm listening to the magnetic fields and trying to decide what to do with the rest of my weekend.

Hmmm, what are you most...
