Still waiting on the cell phone antenna, but I fixed it ghetto style with blue masking tape.
So overall 2 for 3 but it was the most important 2 so I can't complain.

So you know... I think they might have gotten Purgatory wrong... I think they were thinking "Limbo" but said "Purgatory." I mean, I know I've got the entire sum of the world's knowledge right here at my fingertips, but... I'm feeling too lazy at the moment to go look it up. Isn't Purgatory like some really awful place, like as bad as Hell, but it's just a place you have to spend part of Eternity before you get bumped up to Heaven? Aw fuckit, now I gotta go look this up.

The Shins last night.

No words.

Had to drive all the way out to ventura, ran into a friend from college. Introduced him to m, but used the wrong name. Didn't really care, probably won't talk to the guy for another couple years, he's cool but he lives in santa barbara.

Had the best late dinner at the 101 cafe. It's a lovely world.

at least Hennessy + Ingalls was given enough time to find a new location before they were forced out [I note with some glee that their old space is still basically vacant]. I seem to remember that not too long ago, Hennesy + Ingalls and the Midnight Special were basically the anchor tenants on Third Street.

Was in Palm Springs last week.

Saw SGB on friday, was terribly lazy saturday, and stayed up till 4am on sunday. Watched La Feme Nikita and was quite happy with it. Although I'd have to say that I still prefer Leon.

Got some planning to do for this weekend. Got something in the works.

One more saturday event.
Woke up to the sound of someone jiggling the stupid doorknob (my bed was right next to the door). Turns out it had decided to fall apart.

Up at 8 once again. I just don't seem to be able to sleep in these days.

Basically it is a patio that has become a pirate cove, covered in netting and signs of pirate violence. I have a plastic parrot with feathers named Gonzo that sits at the edge of the patio, by the pirate flag, keeping watch. Making sure no non pirate intruders cross over into the pirate patio. I sit out there, drinking booze, and talking with Gonzo. It is nice.

Is that explanation OK?

Got up bright and early despite the late night I pulled.
Walked to the piers, wandered past the submarine museum and had a crepe on the evil evil pier 39 (luckily it was early and the tourists were just starting to represent).
Hiked up to Coit tower. Wished I had my camera, went up the elevator and cried that I ddin't have my camera....
