I always get giddy when I get out of the airport here in LA. What can I say, I miss this place when I'm gone.
Easter was nice and relaxing. Hike around, watched some tv, read some magazines, and spent time with family.

So yeah, I managed to get the power supply out of the tower... but it was NOT easy. Now I'm wondering whether I can actually get the fan out of there and find a replacement for it, or should just get a replacement power supply. But now I'm also thinking it's time to take the plunge and get something newer and more frightening in its capacity to dominate everything in its realm. Something totally gluttonous for which I have absolutely no justification. I am severely tempted. See you soon, pal.

The 24/1.4 is SICK. So worthwhile. Soooooo soooo worthwhile. I've heard that the 50/1.4 is a good lens, but with the 1.6x, a 50 feels like a portrait lens. Dunno.
Put it this way...I've got the 16-35/2.8 with me too, and it has seen almost no use out of love for the 24 (even in midday sun when I'd be hard pressed to open it up beyond f8).

I used my little brother's gun and it was flawless the entire time. Never jammed, was accurate as hell, and just...plain...worked.
