A slight change in my alias today....wanted to separate myself a bit from all those AOLers who seem to be jumping on the site lately....you know, all those people around now with jumbles of letters and numbers as user names....
There are still a lot of cool people around here, but the influx of morons is getting annoying.
Up late last night watching a Terrance McKenna video. Haven't read anything of his in years, but it was fun to hear his ideas again. Just paranoid about the year 2012 now. If you don't know why, don't ask.

Had a wonderful payday on Monday, but I'm being a good boy about it. I need a new record player and VCR, and I want a lot of other semi-pricey things, but I'm paying my bills and putting some of the cash aside for a rainy day.
The rest of the week has flown by. nothing going on at work, which is frustrating because of all the things that need to be done that would make my days here a lot easier.
Seeing Lisa tomorrow for drinks and/or coffee, a beautiful way to celebrate the first day of spring. Happy me. Otherwise, I'm going to stay at home and record. Need to finish up some songs, start on some new ones. I'm liking what I've been coming up with, and excited about trying out some new ideas.
It was really beautiful this morning. Nice to see the sun after the past few grey days. Gonna listen to happy stuff....and then try to convince someone to go see Dawn of the Dead with me tonight....

But then again, I am buying Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow tonight (or Thursday...depends on if I can make it tonight before the store closes). I constantly look in the mirror when I buy a new game and say "Bad Mike! Save Money!" Unfortunately, it has seemingly made things worse.
