So I think I'm going to bite the bullet and get the Six Feet Under DVD set. I've never seen the show, but my best friend watched it from the beginning and said it was all to similar to my life. Now my brother is downloading episodes and is saying the same thing, that it hits really close to home. Besides, I'm sick of being at parties and being asked if my life growing up was anything like the show, and having to answer, "I don't know, haven't had cable in six years, so I haven't seen it".

Watched 'Institute Benjamenta' last night, the live action film by the Brothers Quay. I've always enjoyed their animation (though I prefer Svenkmajer) but I was really impressed by this movie and a lot of images are still creeping into my mind today. Thinking about getting a DV camera soon, or at least a Super-8, and getting some filming done. And if I make a little film then I'll have to make a soundtrack for it... Cool.

SG Burlesque is tomorrow night, and I've decided to take my chance and get tickets the day of the show. Really hoping it will be a fun night, but I won't be able to take Friday off, which means I either won't stay terribly long at the afterparty, or I'll just come to work completely drained and sleep-deprived. Probably the latter....
