work was incredibly slow so i spent most of the time listening to an e.p. of a band i was in over and over and getting nostalgic about those days.... i was homeless at the time so they weren't exactly the greatest, but it was when i met my pre-wife....got kicked out of the band after i skipped two practices to hang out with her....it was worth it, but we did sound good....think i might cover some of the songs on my own tonight even though i don't have a theremin anymore......

wow someones a little touchy, must be listening to too much Joy Division. Which by the way, makes you a pretty hip cat these days. Wow, I see you like Magazine too, Stranglers , Soft Machine, thats a neat little post-punk package, guess that ups your hip/cool points once more. You got me beat buddy, what with your well thought out replies and whatnots.......sounds like your listening experience is shoved pretty far up your anal retentive cornhole to me.
Heres a list of some other cool post punkers to add to your little list......the buzzcocks, the birthday party, the desperate bicycles, the pop group, warsaw, the boys, come on , all of those bands you list are just a little too easy, who doesn't know about Joy Division since Interpol came around?
