Oh, I wanted to explain my name. I spent much time deliberating upon a word that would accurately define me. I eventually was not consciously able to come up with something and gave up. Later on, I laid down to nap. In the stage of consciousness somewhere between awareness and sleep, an image of the ocean came to me.

It defines me well because the ocean is deep, dark, vast, turbulent, calm, deadly, life-giving, ancient, omnipresent, limitless, cold, and filled with a variety of things, some very strange, and some very beautiful. In short, it is what I am, and what I aspire to be.
