Well, a few more weeks left here in hell, I can't wait to roll outta here and drive my beautiful car around. I can do without the weather in Virginia right now though. One good thing (not many) is the weather is decent all year in Cali.
I miss my Kitchen Aid mixer.. I been having dreams about her.. she's so shinny and pretty on that kitchen counter...And my bread maker...mmmmm the smell of homemade bread....I love watching the dough while it gets all kneaded up. I just miss my whole kitchen, My pots and pans, my oven, my fridge....All my cookbooks...
Well, I guess I have pondered enough about it. I will be there soon. If the Navy doesn't kill me before I get there with all these jets I have to paint.

if know all about not being able to cook. i went on overseas assignements for long periods of time and even making a tv dinner was something welcome when i got home.

OK, so I still haven't made the porkchops, but I REALLY do intend to do so soon. Knowing how tough it is for you to go without your kitchen makes me feel guilty for not using mine to the fullest. Other than that, I hope your last few weeks go quickly and that everything's fine with the roomie. Take care
