Eeesh.

Spent last week in the hospital, having my gall bladder removed.

Nice new scars on the abdomen, and the loss of my navel piercing.
The doctor told me, 'But those are so 2002, anyway.'

Whatever.

Thankfully my tongue hadn't closed up too much to fit the bar back through. And it was kind of cool to be in a hospital--most of the doctors could...

A gut wrenching sort of night, in a good way if you know what I mean.

Really it was just Movie, Bar, Waffle House, but when you have friends that challenge you, that meet your arguments with new points, that love you and yet will be brutal to you, nothing's ever as simple as a laundry list.

A group of us went to see CLoser...

I really don't know what to say, very thoughtfull and kind of sad. I just went throgh a break up with someone who I thought was the 'one'. We were perfect for each other and really still are. The bad thing is that we both still love each other but other factors have come between us. No, not other people, nothing like that. Jobs, children, those kind of things. Thats what sucks, when you find the one that is perfect for you and you can't be with them then that is really a blow. Thats when you think that life really sucks and who cares what happens tommorow. I have learned to live with the day to day things but she is still on my mind most of the time.

You are really lucky you have a friend that you can share your feelings and thoughts with, my best friend is the women that I can't be with.

I am currently taking a break from the moving & rearranging of all the furniture in my bedroom, coupled with a good cleaning while I'm at it. I've had this weird urge to nest lately, to clean and organize and put things in order. Maybe it's the weather getting colder. Maybe it's PMS. Who knows. regardless, since I've started this cleaning/ moving/ shoving thing, I've...

While cleaning is generally as enjoyable as going to the dentist, I do like the "there it is" moment when you find that book, note, picture or bottle of cod liver oil you thought long gone.

With a slow dial-up connection (actually it would have to be twice as fast just to be slow ...), I occasionally find it productive to reduce the ever growing mountain of various and sundry piles of papers of assorted origins while I wait for the next page or picture to load.

Finds include newsarticles (like the review of a show I wanted to see ... long since closed ... Or one about the benefits of broadband ... don't know why I needed to be reminded of that ...), an invitation to a friend's art exhibition (sorry, friend. Hope it was fun ...) and catalogues that I meant to look through (not sure that the NYU School of Continuing Ed's Spring 2004 catalogue is still that useful ...)

In any case, have fun with the cleaning and sorry about the excessive use of parentheses ... and periods ...

It seems like I always wake up at 430 in the morning, no matter how soundly I'm sleeping, no matter what really fantastic dreams I'm having.

I really hate 430 am these days.
