So im sitting here in Stanstead aiport after what was the most disappointing meal I have ever eaten, I dont think the waiter understood me when I complemented him for a truly third rate meal, or when I answered his would you like anything else sir with a no I think I should quit while im behind thank you

Before all this though I can put my hand on my heart and say that it was a truly kick ass, all dials turned up to eleven kind of weekend.

SGUK in full effect on Saturday night for Jaynes welcome party in the ship. All the usual suspects were in attendance along with a few which I had the pleasure of meeting for the first time.

Britt six-foot god knows what of sweetness

Arrow charming, delightful, classy, cute, think of all the nice things you could say about someone and insert here, every city should have an arrow.

Farqueue this man is one funny guy eh, pure class

Charley as expected, stunningly beautiful and charming to boot

Creamygoodness , not too sure about this guy seemed to have one too many of the old ' looser ' genes

And G1 who made me giggle lots, both with him and at him, all in all just the right mix of the two.

And there were others but im getting bored typing, you know who you were.


Today we went to see Kates and PearlBasss band Gin Panic. All I can assume is that they sold their soul to the devil a long time ago to be able to rock that much. They were super tight, the singer had rock god tattooed on his DNA and despite my initial worries about a band with three guitars clouding up the sound, the arrangements were spot on and I enjoyed eating my words with lashings of humble pie and beer. Word to the wise, go see these guys.
