School in the morning. Can't sleep because I slept all day.

My friend is a security guard at the building he lives in, and whenever he works the nightshift, I come by and hang out with him for a bit to help him pass the time. We're both in pretty much the same situation with school, home and living (and until I quit my job work as well) so we usually have the same shit to gripe about.
He suggested that after class we actually go out and get to know some people that we go to school with, women for the most part. He's an amazing storyteller and I know how to supplement all the shit he talks to an insane degree. So if nothing else, we'll get some laughs. Or strange looks. Regardless, I'm going to have some fun.

There are so few people on my level at my school though. I don't mean to sound pompous, its just that virtually everyone there is an airhead that got in because they did all the homework in high school and have no real sense of humour or personality. I'm a smart guy, but damn, after being out of school for 2 years a majority of my synapses don't exactly fire like they used to, so I'd expect someone to outwit me. Something that never really happens. I suppose that if I give them sometime and get to know more people, I'll meet someone that's a good conversationalist. I just worry.
I just need to meet them. Maybe its my lack of confidence. Which is confounding because I know that I'm fucking awesome.
