okay, so the dealership called me and wants me to bring in my Oregon driver's license. Problem is, I never got one...I didn't think I would be driving so I didn't see the point. When i got the car they told me it might be a problem, but they let my sign all the paperwork and go home with the car so I figured it wasn't that big of a deal. I knew I had to get one ASAP though, so I am working on it. I was going to go down to the DMV today and get it done but I decided to check and see how much it would cost. good thing, cause it says $125 for a new license if you don't already have an Oregon issued one. I have about $30 to my name. The guy from the dealership just called saying he needed it TODAY. I told him tough shit cause I don't have the money. Then he said I should go get it, pay with a check and then take the license to him (about 30 min drive away) and he would reimburse me. I was like, dude, it is almost 6:30pm...they are closed now. Then he asked me to do it Monday...I have a job and my hours are exactly the same hours that the DMV is open...I love that. So I tell him I have a job and I can't just come in whenever I want cause I have to spend 75 hours in line at the DMV. So then he gets all pissy with me saying "well then I guess you don't have a car" and I was like "fine, I will bring it back..." I mean, those fucking salesmen are soooo hard up to get a sale that they will pretty much do anyting possible and cut every corner to get it done. I think that is fucked up. If it was going to be this big of an issue, they should have made that clear and not sugar coated everything to make me feel okay about going ahead with the deal. Plus, they keep telling me that I have to show more proof of residence eventhough I brought a bill with my name and address on it and that is the only thing they said they needed at the time. Now, they are telling me I need to get a new lease agreement that has my name on it too. Fuck that. They need to be upfront about what documents are needed BEFORE they let someone take a fucking car home. Car salesmen are the lowest of the low....sorry, but 99% of them are dirt balls. They will tell you anything to get you to buy and then once you do the whole story changes. Fuckers. Whatever, I am so over it. I have been in that car 2 times since I've had it...and those times have not been pleasant. So, maybe this is the universe telling me I should not have that car. I am just so pissed right now. Why did they let me go through with this if it wasn't a done deal? I HATE salespeople!!!!!! Fucking bullshitting liars.
