Works been rough lately. Lots of long hours and we've only shot three episodes.
Goes with the territory, but I'm so jaded at this point I'm over it.
Enter my childhood heroes. The Boston Red Sox.
I went to see my Red Sox play the Angels today. Me, six of my buddies and an amazing number of reps from the Red Sox Nation West.
Weather was beautiful, hot as hell, and the pitching was outstanding on both sides. No score until late in the game. Then the error man himself, Renteria gets up and drops a bomb. A three run bomb. Manny launched a two run shot right after that. Five nothing. To cut to the chase, they won.
Message of the day, it's the little things that make me happier than anything else. Maybe it's 'cause that's all I got. Maybe that's just how it always is and I don't realize it enough. I haven't been this happy in a long time and it's all due to a great day out at the ballpark. You'd think I won the lottery.
