Happy 4th of July!
This day always makes me miss my home of Boston. If you haven't experienced the 4th in Boston, you haven't experienced 4th of July. Nevermind the insane hourlong fireworks display and the amazing Boston Pops playing at the Hatch Shell, just the feeling of history and pride that run through that town is what makes it. Trust me, try it, you'll be amazed.
In other news, finally got a good engine from the idiots. Seems to be running okay. I'll see how it breaks in over the next couple of weeks.
Randomly went into Whole Foods the other night and my crush was working. She saw me and made a point to say hello and come over and talk to me. Really made my weekend. She's so damn hot.
Lastly, just got back from a party with some of my favorite ladies who like ladies.
I always find it weird at parties like this. I'm laid back, couldn't care less about someone's sexual preference, but these girls all have different reactions to me. Some are awesome, like Nicole. Totally chill, great gal. Others don't even care to meet me. Like, oh, that's a man, he has a penis, don't need to waste my time.
Get over it, girl. Not everyone is a lady on this planet. Be civil and meet someone you might enjoy talking to. Just because you have a conversation with a straight guy doesn't mean he wants to fuck you.
Anyway, I find it annoying sometimes. But I did get to see some great friends and had a fun time. The beer made me sleepy, though, so I ducked out early.
Off to work tomorrow.
