I met the woman of my dreams tonight. Charming, smart, driven, talented, gorgeous. One bump in the road. She's gay. Always something, huh?
I went to a ladies' bar with a bi friend of mine. Figured I'd have a few drinks, see some of her friends I haven't seen in a while and enjoy beingout.
I definitely enjoyed it. Lots of cool people and lots of beautiful women. And this goddess just starts rapping with me, asking about my life, where I'm from, what I do. Just downright sweet and charming.
I shook her hand when I was leaving and she shook it, but then proceeded to hug me and tell me that I had to call her.
Why do you ladies torture me so?

In other news, think I figured out the lack of oil pressure in the new engine. Gear in the oil pump isn't seated properly. I'll fix it tomorrow.

And finally, not looking forward to the job I just accepted. It's a good rate and script guarantee, but I've gotten so used to being my own boss and making my own hours. I'm going to hate answering to someone. Oh, well. Life's shit sometimes.
Gotta keep pushing.
I'm just glad my Dad's surgery went well. I don't know what I'd do if he'd died.
