So yeah, had a lot of fun in Detroit. I was there primarily for the Michigan Modernism show in Southfield. Here are some photos of myself & my partners at our booth 1 2.
The high point for me was finally getting my hands on a Valentine typewriter by Ettore Sottsass. I've always wanted one and now... well, I guess I'm going to start typing letters to people?
Anyhow. I fell in love with Detroit. I've been to the outlying areas a number of times, but this was my first time hanging out in the city proper. My pal Arun took us around to The Magic Stick, Detroit Contemporary and... uh, I forgot the bar, but we saw Saturday Looks Good to Me and that was great too. To top it all of his mother made us the best Indian food I've ever had.
Detroit does truly rock.

i'll be ok soon. i've only been in VA for one night and already my head is clearing up a bit. i needed to get away. i'm getting a phone soon which is good. i need a way to talk to people.
