I had a delightful freelance gig this week as a "comp artist" or "Xacto-n-glue-user". It's been a long time since someone... wait, no... no one's ever really paid me to sit there, zone out, play with knives and inhale glue all day long. It was very peaceful.
In other news, the worst thing I've seen lately is some guy from the Backstreet Boys on Regis. He was all punked out, as was his band, but they were still sporting Backstreet Boys-style songs and dance moved. It was painful. However, I did like the part where he talked all about going into the studio for six months to write songs. When he came out he had written over sixty of his own songs, though he later mentions that around 30% of the songs on his new album were written by him. He backhanded himself!
