I have been cured of my illness by the Pita Inn.
The Pita Inn in Skokie, Illinois is the only place where muslims and jews truly get along, even now.

I spent the evening trying to bring my Vespa back from the dead. I'm hoping to sell it before I move to NYC, but yesterday I kept imagining how cool it would look with NY...

After a week of cold or nonexistant showers due to forgetting to pay my gas bill for the past six months, my landlord called me from the basement today and asked, "hey, do you want me to turn your gas back on for you?"

Life is good.

Switch?
The fucking nerve of them.
I'm about ready to "switch" to a PC!
For a company that pretty much only makes hardware, Apple is doing a shitty job of it.
They already had to replace the motherboard on my G4 once, about a month after I got it. Now, it seems that the processor is faulty! The one that was on the motherboard that...

As far as I can tell, Apple has no quality control. A similar thing happened to me, and when it did I found countless similar stories on the web. Even when mine was bad out of the box, they wouldn't replace it, but instead insisted on repairing it. My G4 is fine now and I hate PCs, so I don't really have a choice.

Hmm... one good thing about being unemployed is that I should be as wiry as Jeremy Irons in no time... no money to drink, lots of bike riding, and cooking at home.

It certainly isn't motivating me to get a job, aside from that drinking part.

say hey...what do you design by the way?

Wow. I totally got fired. It is totally humiating and infuriating. But, life goes on, right? I'm thinking of becoming an Ice Cream Man, there are a few hot months left in Chicago.
thirtyseven:
awww, i completely understand. i was fired for the first time just last week. if it was so infuriating, it's probably better that you aren't there anymore...
jamy:
shouldn't it be the post post-modernist? Or are you old fashioned...
