I can't quite explain it, but this image makes me want to start painting. I've never even attempted to do it before, but I just saw "One Day in September" and I'm obsessed with this image. It creeps me out.

My labor, my love.

Spent the weekend with my beloved at the Sofitel out at O'Hare. It was bizzare as the hotel was totally dead. We saw no other guests. Additionally, as we wandered the streets looking for food and candy, we realized we could've been just about anywhere in America. The Le Bar at the Sofitel didn't fool me one bit.

Oh yeah. My Vespa is for sale!

I had a delightful freelance gig this week as a "comp artist" or "Xacto-n-glue-user". It's been a long time since someone... wait, no... no one's ever really paid me to sit there, zone out, play with knives and inhale glue all day long. It was very peaceful.
