you quote modest mouse a lot, and i sort of ignored most of their work up until recently, i rediscovered it and had an "oh shit!" moment. the music is solid and the writing is potent, and that equals a great mental blast, exactly what i look for. what is the best album in your opinion, and why? or what album is good for what?
