Howdy Ho SG friends!
First of all, as always, a big thank you to those kind souls who left supportive comments on my last blog, and also thanks for the Birthday wishes. You're all in my cool book, this calls for hugs all round! :)
As you can guess from the title of this blog, I don't have much to report this time.
My mother in law's feeling much better, and she's back to her old self. With our help she's managing to eat better too, because her blood sugar was really high when she was in hospital. She's a type 2 Diabetic and she'd been eating whatever she wanted (she has a sweet tooth) before she ended up in hospital.
Now we're helping her keep better track of what she eats, her blood sugar's back to more normal levels and she's feeling better for it. :)
No news on my situation, I've been really sore lately, and nothing seems to ease the pain. Because of this I haven't been out and about much and have spent most of my time knitting... I was working on a scarf, but I finished that on Saturday and now I'm knitting another cardigan. This one's got a simple pattern which mixes knit stitches and purl stitches, so it will look more interesting than the plain cardigan I made a month ago.
Finally heard more news about my tablet pc which I'd sent back to the supplier for repairs. They phoned yesterday and told me it had finally come back from the technical team and it was going to be posted to me last night. Fingers crossed it should be here at some point over the weekend. :)
