Thanks for all the nice comments on my last blog, love to you all.
Had a very lazy weekend as it happens. Assassin's Creed 1 & 2 arrived yesterday, so had a little go of the first one and found it a bit weird after playing the third one first. The plot makes much more sense now, but the mini map's harder to follow after playing the third one and it appears the controls have been simplified as the games have progressed. Struggling a bit with the controls for fighting, so am being desynchronised a lot and I'm only on the 2nd memory. Those damn Templars!
The wife had another all night session last night, as she's started playing Infamous 2, which I spent much of New Year's Eve downloading (we don't have fibre optic broadband yet). I finally gave up waiting on her coming to bed at 3.45 this morning and fell asleep, only to be awoken when she came to bed at 5.50 this morning.
She's been playing the game for most of the day today, so hopefully she won't be up too late tonight, as I've got to be up for work tomorrow.
Awoke this morning to snow, nothing much to shout about though, just a few inches.
Anyways, we decided not to visit mum today, as we knew the roads would be untreated due to it being sunday and we didn't need to go to town for anything else. Plus mum's got a cold and was a bit worried about us catching it, so that worked out alright for everyone.
Didn't get any work done on my assignment, as I'd initially hoped to do this weekend. Procrastination will be the end of me!
At least the deadline's not until the 21st, so I can get it started this week and will try and get a good chunk done next weekend.
That's about all my news for now, so I'll close this blog with some nice cosplay pics.
