Still quiet at work today, but the phone got busier, There was about 7 phone calls between 9.00 and 9.30 today and then not much after that but everytime the phone rang later on, there would be around 3-4 calls in a row. Mostly patients booking appointments, which was good, so our appointment book's looking not quite as bare as it was yesterday.
I was majorly annoyed with Radio 2 today, as the reception kept cutting off at 5 minute intervals and we'd get a minute's silence before it would return. Gave up trying to listen to it around 10.00, which was annoying as I missed Popmaster - I love that music quiz, I can usually get most answers right (but there are some days where I'm lucky if I get 2 or 3 right) and can usually get the 3 in 10 at the end of the show, unless it's some obscure band I haven't heard of. My bosses keep telling me I should phone in and try and get on the quiz, but knowing my luck it would be the day when I'd get only 2 or 3 questions right and would end up embarassing myself on national radio!
So spent the day listening to The Doors on cd and a playlist on my phone, which led to some questionable singing by myself when I was on my own in the early afternoon.

It's a good job I was all alone, otherwise I would've been more than a bit embarassed.
Had a cold and strange end to the day when the bus didn't show up. The bus for the nearest town to the one I live in arrived, so I asked the driver if there was no bus for us tonight, he said it was at the terminal and would be coming, but didn't tell me why.
So I waited and waited and all the other buses came and went and eventually, about 10 minutes after all the other buses had gone, the bus arrived. By this point I couldn't feel my hands as I hadn't realised how cold it was this morning and I'd left my gloves at home. It turned out the bus was late because it's battery had died, so that's why it was so late.
Will definitely take my gloves with me tomorrow!
