Yet another boring day at work, I need a new job! I've been working at Miller Optician's for 5 years now and I'm getting very restless. Don't get me wrong, they're great employers and I couldn't get better hours - Monday to Friday, 9 to 5. The wage is reasonable too, but we've been struggling for a while as my wife had to quit her job to be a carer for her disabled mother (who lives with us).
I don't have many qualifications and I'm studying for a degree with the Open University in the hope that I'll be able to get a better paid job when I graduate. This is the first year of my degree, there's still another 5 years to go after this, as I'm studying part time, so I don't have to give up my job.

I managed to get my TMA nearly finished, but then I got a headache and couldn't concentrate any more to finish it tonight. Will get it finished tomorrow.

Sorry for offloading, but I get so stressed with working full time and studying whenever I can, and I needed to vent my frustrations.

A big thanks to whoever reads this depressing blog for today! I'll try and make the next one more cheerful.
