So yeah... my birthday... I wake up... and bam... I find out Syd Barrett is dead... oone of my music idols... a man who's music is the first I remember hearing in my life. When I moved to Seattle the first thing I bought was a Syd Barrett CD that was an import I didn't have.
Today the world found out of the loss of a genius... in music and art... who influenced not just those around him but generations of music around the world.
