I just updated to photoshop CS and it's pretty lush but I didn't like the taskbar icon. this one:
So a quick google later and I turned up Resource Hacker, a handy little program which amoung other things can extract icons from .exe's/dll's and also replace existing one with one you specify!
How handy, so I patched the photoshop.exe with the old ps7 icon:
and voila I have my trusty old ps icon back!
If you do attempt anything like this yourself ***REMEMBER*** to back up the file you are hacking because if your pocking and prodding has unexpected/unpleasant results and you've not made a copy of the original file, you're screwed
So proceed with caution!!!
I'm currently working on an image for a winamp plugin/php script that will tell you what I'm currently listening to. I think I've been a bit too adventurous with the script as when I originally downloaded it (from the Now Playing website) it was much more simple, it's been ages since I hacked php script but it's good to get back on your head occasionally!!!
Hopefully it's gonna look real purty when I'm done. Maybe I can add other functions then and make a dynamic signature!
Currently waiting for my Naruto torrent to finish, he's just "perfected" the summoning technique. I say perfected but a giant really pissed off frog that decides to stamp around destroying massive chunks of countryside might be considered something that needs a little work on, eh kakashi?

does anyone else think the journal entry area would benefit from being slightly larger? Maybe it's just how firefox renders it.
