Well the lack of Blow is a plus to me but man the suburbs. I mean I live in the burbs (love that movie) but it is the burbs of LA which makes it a long way to travel. Now if there were still a lot of Bob's Big Boys around I could just walk into the bathroom and then leave the bathroom in one near your place but since that very thing caused their empire to collapse in on itself I no longer have the ability to do that.

OK, this isn't what I was going to say earlier, but have you seen the commercial on A&E for the new show Intervention, which follows people with serious addictions facing, well, interventions? They play BNL's "What A Good Boy" and it's quite possibly the most haunting thing I have seen in a long long time.

when i moved to my last apartment, my gramma told my mom i was moving into a neighbourhood full of hookers and drugdealers and murderers! my mom stressed for weeks, and then mentioned it to me - what she wasn't told was that the neighbourhood that my gramma warned her about was 45 blocks away on the north end of the same street. silly grandparents and their stressing... love them dearly, but they scare us so easily.
