Okay, so yesterday was a Very Good day.

- I sold Grandpa's car on eBay...on what would have been his 84th birthday, no less. The dude who bought it is coming from Michigan on Saturday to pick it up. It couldn't have sold at a better time. I think I'll use some of the money to get my Dad CSN tickets as a kind of thank you.

- I got a job!!! Yes, that's right. They practically hired me on the spot. I guess I'm just that good. I start a couple of days after I get home from Germany.

- Coming home from the gym last night, I hit a pothole and waffled [I think I waffled it, anyway] my rim and completely blew out my right front tire. There is really nothing like having to change a tire after you've worked out for two hours, are still sweating, and it's more humid than a damn mangrove outside. I practically had to peel my clothes off when I eventually made my way home. Ewww. I also learned that it's very difficult to avoid knuckle scrapeage when jacking up a car. Luckily my hands aren't too chewed up.
