if i were as unwise with my financial investments as i am with my emotional ones, i'd be in debtor's prison.

In order to experience love and happiness we have to accept the possibility of getting hurt. To truly bond with someone and share deeply with them, we have to let them into our hearts. That gives them the power to hurt us most deeply.

I don't have any answers. I just know we learn a little more each time.
