I just got back from our second date! I really think this girl is a serious prospect. I mean, I know it's premature and there is still a lot to learn. And I plan on taking it slow. But so far I am very impressed. Here's the story...


We met up at a diner, because it was an easy landmark for her since she's never driven out here before. We then drove around a little and I showed her my hometown. She let me drive her camaro. Wow. That was fucking awesome. Not only is that a HUGE show of trust on her part, it was also fun as hell. My car is a slow piece of crap with a retarded transmission, and hers is a high performance vehicle. We were speeding all over.
Then we went to PF Changs. Basically an upscale fancyish chinese restaurant. We showed up early for our reservation so we took a walk around the shopping center. It was a nice day out, and we were just holding hands and having a nice conversation.
Then we checked in, and she met my friends Steve and Misty. We had a TASTY dinner, then all 4 of us went for a drive with the top down with Twiztid blaring out of the stereo.
My pals had to go to bed early so they split, then the two of us went to go hang out at Fred's house. She got to meet basically almost all of my friends in one night, and heard quite a few embarassing stories as well! And yet she stayed. She actually wasn't impressed or horrified by the stories she heard. I have worse ones, but they involve poor taste in ex girlfriends so I didn't think she was ready for that just yet!
We all went to the diner, talked some more and just hung out. One thing that meant a lot to me is that she got along with all my pals. She liked them and they liked her.
That is the FIRST TIME that has EVER happened with a girl! My friends usually hated my ex girlfriends, and with good reason. :shudder:

Anyway, throughout the night I felt a strong connection with her. I admire her in a lot of ways. She has always been confident, and I had to work my entire life to gain what self esteem I now have. She is only 23 and is already very successful as a person; she is independent and financially secure. She has a great sense of humor and is easy to get along with. She is also very considerate and intelligent. She really listens to me. For example, I often talk about my chocolate addiction. When she showed up tonight she had brought me a box of godiva chocolate! How awesome is that?!


Personalitywise we are similar in a lot of ways. We are both a bit arrogant, in different ways. We like to be smartasses and make fun of each other, and pretend to get offended. We both love to be right, so there is potential for arguments in the future, but what the hell it's worth it. We have VERY strong chemistry. We are constantly all over each other.
Which brings me to the end of the night...
We got back to the diner where I had stashed my car, and sat talking for a minute. We started kissing, and more kissing... both knowing it couldn't lead anywhere. I don't have a bedroom, or any sort of privacy. So tonight was a total tease.

Seriously though, we couldn't stop. I got into my car, and she came over and gave me one last kiss, and one more, and so on... God I can't wait till the next time I drive out to see her. Last time I went out there we had some of the best sex I've ever had.

So anyway.
To sum it all up, tonight was a phenomenal success. I don't know enough to jump into a relationship just yet, but I do know enough to want to. I really will be careful this time around but so far, this girl seems like a great match for me.
