Hahaaaa! I love movie monday!
Every monday at The Trocadero theatre in Philly, they show a movie. It's $3 to get in, and your admission goes toward a drink or snack at the bar! So it's sorta free. They play movies that have been out for a while, whether they're semi new(silent hill) or old classics(Roadhouse). And you can just kinda chill out, smoke, drink, and eat while you watch it! It's very laid back.
Tonight we went and saw Office Space! I wore my Initech work shirt, and got many compliments. hehe
Before the movie they had a little game show thing, where they'd play songs and the first person who shouted out the correct band name got to pick a card.
Each card had an event or challenge of some kind. I got on stage one time and my challenge was charades! In front of everyone, I had to act out the movie "Swingers". lol So I just pretended like I was swinging on a swingset. Someone guessed it in like 5 seconds because I'm awesome like that.
One guy's challenge was "getting kidnapped". A guy in a ski mask ran at him with a plastic pirate sword and carried him backstage somewhere! Then they gave him a beer. Another girl's challenge was "resist the oreo". Pretty much exactly what it sounded like. I would've lost at that one.
